Proposed Pedestrian Safety Upgrade for Main Street - Community Poll

As your local Councillor, pedestrian safety is one of my top priorities. I've heard the frustration from residents across the Gabba Ward about the lack of pedestrian safety improvements being delivered by Council. That's why I've been looking for ways to deliver these improvements directly through my role as your local Councillor.

This has led me to use my annual Suburban Enhancement Fund (SEF) to progress projects that matter most to our community. The proposed Main Street pedestrian crossing is one of four pedestrian improvement projects I've been working on over the past two years. I've put together a short Frequently Asked Questions page that will provide important information on the proposed design here: [link] (https://www.trinamassey.com/kangaroo_point_proposed_pedestrian_safety_upgrade)

I'm offering a community poll from 19 March - 26 April 2026 to allow the community to make the decision about whether the proposed pedestrian upgrade will go ahead. I encourage all Gabba Ward residents to vote and make a decision for the future of pedestrian safety on Main Street.

For this poll, the voting platform requires email verification, making submission a two step process, and only one vote per person will be allowed.

Your privacy matters — unless you tick the box asking to be updated, we won’t contact you further about this project. And only those who opt in to my digital newsletter will be added to my mailing list.
